How to measure a cubic metre

Multiply length × width × height. Example: 3m × 1m × 1m = 3 cubic metres.

If your rubbish is spread out and hard to measure, this may help: An average family car has a volume of around 6–7 cubic metres. We charge by the metre, so you only pay for what is taken away.

Material restrictions

We do not take:

  • Large tree stumps
  • Asbestos
  • Hazardous waste
  • Liquids, paint, oils, chemicals (dry paint in cans is OK)
  • Gas bottles

Some facilities require cement sheeting to be double‑wrapped in black plastic (available at Bunnings or Mitre 10).

We only accept large quantities of concrete, bricks, broken tiles, or soil in skip bins. Our smaller tipper trucks can only take 1–2 wheelbarrow loads of these materials.

Payment options

  • Cash
  • EFTPOS/credit card
